The Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team snapped a five-game losing skid with a 62-53 victory over the Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers at the Events Center December 29.  Willie Rodriguez led all scorers with 19 points.  He also grabbed 13 rebounds for a double-double performance.  Everson Davis was right behind with 18 points and Justin McFadden hit for 12 points for the Bearcats. BK Ashe was the only Mountaineer in double digits with 10 points.

The Bearcats led 31-23 at the half.  The Mount got that lead down to just two points mid-way through the second half but the Bearcats surged in the closing minutes to record the win.  The Bearcats moved to a record of 3-9 while the Mountaineers fell to 3-10.
