Barton Man Charged After Domestic Dispute

A 26-year-old man was sent to Tioga County Jail after a reported domestic incident.

Authorities say Joshua Vanderpool of Old Barton Road, Barton, was charged with second-degree harassment.

According to the Tioga County Sheriff's Office, Vanderpool was accused of punching a person in the head several times during the disturbance.

Vanderpool was arraigned in Barton town court. He was ordered held on $2,000 bail.
