B-Mets Winning Streak Snapped
The New Hampshire Fisher Cats snapped the Binghamton Mets seven-game winning streak last night in Manchester in a 3-2 decision. John Anderson out-dueled Binghamton's Robert Gsellman to get the win. Anderson got his second win of the season while Gsellman drops to 1-3.
Binghamton's record stands at 35-31 after last night's defeat. Michael Conforto continues to club Eastern League pitching. He went 2-4 for his third straight multiple-hit game. He is 26-65 at the plate for a .400 average.
Seth Lugo is the scheduled starter for the B-Mets tonight. Austin Bibens-Dirkx counters for the Fisher Cats. Tonight's first pitch is set for 7:05 with air at 6:50 on News Radio 1290 WNBF. The teams meet at 1:35PM tomorrow and conclude the series Monday night at 7:05 PM
