The Binghamton Mets won their sixth consecutive game May 2 with a 2-1 decision over the New Hampshire Fisher Cats at NYSEG Stadium.

Luis Cessa started and went five innings and struck out five to up his record to 2-1.  Paul Sewald struck out Jack Murphy to record his fourth save of the season.  Jared King drove in both B-Mets runs with a single in the sixth inning.

The B-Mets up their record to 14-8.  With six victories in a row the B-Mets are riding their longest winning streak since June of last season.
