Local food pantries are in a particularly rough spot.

On top of the normal number of food insecure people in the Southern Tier -- COVID and sky-high inflation have placed an immense burden on food pantries in our own backyard. If you think you don't know anyone who is food insecure, you are wrong.

Broome County CHOW has served over 10,000 people in just the last two months, and are facing an immense food shortage.

However, you can help.

Townsquare Media Binghamton is teaming up with Music For The Mission to hold the Neighbors Feeding Neighbors auction, with all proceeds going to help CHOW provide food for the food insecure people of the Southern Tier during this tough time.

The auction will take place on Monday, May 23 at 6 a.m. through Friday, May 27 at 9 p.m.

You'll be able to place your bid on a wide array of items, from gift certificate to Southern Tier businesses, to concert tickets, to a stock car racing experience of a lifetime.

Among the highest interest items -- a basketball autographed by NBA Hall Of Famer Walt Frazier, and a football autographed by New York Giants legend Tiki Barber.

If you would like to help, but do not wish to bid in the auction, you can click this link to make a donation to Music For The Mission, just be sure to specify that the donation is for CHOW.
