Two Binghamton Bearcats have been honored by America East with selection to the conference's All-Tournament Softball Team.  Senior second baseman Jessica Bump and freshman designated hitter Bridget Hunt were selected on the basis of their performance at last weekend's America East Championship Tournament.

Bump from Section 4 powerhouse Windsor High School, went 3-9 in three BU post-season games.  Two of her three hits were for home runs.  During the regular season she hit .310, had nine home runs and drove in 29 runs.  She was named to the America East All-Conference first-team as well.

Hunt was 4-9 in the AE Tournament for a .444 average.  She hit for the cycle in BU's tournament opener against the Albany Great Danes.  She was the first player in BU softball history at the Division I level to hit for the cycle.

During the regular season Hunt was selected to the America East All-Rookie Team.  During regular season play she batted .329, hit seven home runs and drove in 25 runs.

The Bearcats were eliminated from the AE Tournament with a 5-2 loss to Albany on Saturday.  The Great Danes went on to defeat host Stony Brook twice yesterday and win the America East Championship.
