The America East basketball season heads into its final week with jockeying by a number of teams for playoff seeding.  On the men's side the Binghamton Bearcats have one remaining game.  That is on February 28 at 2:00 p.m. against the UMBC Retrievers at the Events Center.  Then it is on the the post-season where you keep playing if you win and go home if you lose.

Coach Tommy Dempsey's team will play someone away on Wednesday, March 4th.  With a record of 4-11 the Bearcats appear to be set for a sixth seed and that would likely mean a trip to either New Hampshire or Stony Brook who are tied for third place.  There is still the possibility that one of those teams could inch above Vermont with a record of 11-3.

The Albany Great Danes have clinched at least a share of the regular season title and are 13-1 with games coming up at UMBC on February 25 and home versus Vermont on Saturday.  The Catamounts host New Hampshire February 25 in their other game this week.  Stony Brook hosts UMass Lowell February 25 and travels to Hartford on Saturday.
