Binghamton Police say a felony charge is filed against a Maryland woman in connection with the apparent abduction of her twins from their biological father's home.

New York State Police confirmed an Amber Alert issued late Thursday night concerning a possible abduction in the City of Binghamton was canceled early Friday, November 6.

Authorities said 37-year-old Amanada Collis was headed south with her 8-year-old girls.

Autumn and Evelyn Collis were taken at around 5:30 p.m. November 5 from their home on Park Street on the West Side.

State Police say the black 2015 Kia Forte with Maryland plate had been seen headed into Pennsylvania on Interstate 81 at around 11 p.m.

Early in the morning authorities reported that the car and the children were found in Hagarstown, Maryland. The Amber Alert was canceled at around 2 a.m. November 6.

Binghamton Police say the girls' biological father has custody of the twins and Amanda Collins is being charged with felony custodial interference.

Arrangements were being made Friday for the sisters' return to Binghamton.
