The Yale Bulldogs defeated the Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team in New Haven, Connecticut on Sunday afternoon by a final score of 57- 48.  The teams were tied at 21-21 at the end of the first half.

The Bearcats shot just under 28 percent from the field.

Jasmine Sina led the Bearcats in scoring with 16 points including five - three-point baskets, all of which came in the second half.  Imani Watkins also hit for double figures and ended up with 11 points.

It was the first of five Ivy League opponents the Bearcats will face this season.  Up next Binghamton travels to Philadelphia to meet the Penn Quakers at 7:00 PM on Wednesday night (air at 6:45 on 1360 AM WYOS).  Then it's on to Providence where the Bearcats meet the Friars at 4:00 PM on Saturday afternoon.
