Wysox Woman is Injured in a Crash Blamed on Speed

A Bradford County, Pennsylvania woman is recovering from what are described as moderate injuries after crashing her car on Liberty Corners Road in Towanda Township December 2nd .

State Police say 47 year old Nancy Tucker of Wysox was driving north shortly after 11 a.m. and was trying to negotiate a left hand curve in the road. 

Troopers say Tucker was going too fast and lost control.

The woman's Pontiac Montana went onto the eastern berm, hit the embankment, flipped onto the driver’s side and skidded into the middle of the roadway.

Authorities say Tucker was transported to Towanda Memorial Hospital.

She is charged with speeding and authorities say more charges are possible.
