World’s Largest Yard Sale Brings Huge Crowd to Whitney Point

The World's Largest Yard Sale was held today at the Broome County Fairgrounds in Whitney Point.  A huge crowd turned out to shop at close to 200 vendor booths.  There were items of all kinds including crafts, furniture, jewelry, tools and much more.

Those who attended were also able to enjoy food from several different vendors.  The event was organized for the first time in the area by Townsquare Media.  The weather cooperated with sunny skies and mild temperatures.  Visitors came from all over the region and included young children with their parents as well as senior citizens.
