Broome County residents may have noticed a very large, propeller driven airplane flying low over Johnson City shortly before 1 p.m. June 8.

It was a B29 Superfortress that had been used in World War Two and is on display at the Greater Binghamton Airport for a few days.

The Boeing aircraft is the only one that is still flying.

Toursof the aircraft cost $10 adults and $5 for children. Ticket prices for rides start at $575.
