Broome County Sheriff’s officials say an Endicott woman used her sister’s name to try to avoid being arrested on an outstanding warrant.

A tip informed authorities that 34 year old Angel Shelton was seen walking in the area of the Endicott village line on Monroe Street May 10.

After determining her real name, Deputies say they also found her in possession of four bags of heroin and hypodermic needles.

Shelton is charged with criminal impersonation, criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument.
