A New York City woman faces several charges in a vehicle crash that resulted in the death of a Broome County man.

Authorities say 31-year-old Crest Wood of the Bronx was arrested on Friday.

According to the Delaware County Sheriff's Office, Wood was indicted by a grand jury on manslaughter and other counts in connection with the August 21 collision in the town of Colchester.

Investigators say Wood was driving a sport utility vehicle that slammed into a vehicle operated by 48-year-old William Sharpless of Nineveh. The crash occurred on Cat Hollow Road. Sharpless was pronounced dead at the scene.

In addition to manslaughter, Wood has been charged with criminally negligent homicide, reckless driving and failure to keep right.

Wood was arraigned in Delaware County court. She was ordered held on $3,000 bail.
