A Town of Dickinson woman is accused of driving with a blood alcohol content at more than twice the legal limit and consuming alcohol in a vehicle.

Broome County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a hit-and-run on Glenwood Avenue in the City of Binghamton shortly after 12 a.m. May 3 and located a vehicle with fresh damage on Lower Stella Ireland Road.

46 year old Delphina Gramegna admitted she knew she hit something and didn’t stop.

Authorities say they measured Gramegna’s blood alcohol content at .20%, two and a half times the legal limit.

The woman is charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated with a BAC of .18% or higher, open container of alcohol with intent to consume in a vehicle.  She also has been issued several tickets by the Binghamton Police.
