Authorities say Loretta Parliman was arrested Thursday at the Red Roof Inn at 650 Old Front Street.

According to the Broome County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called to investigate a report that a woman was "destroying a room."

When deputies arrived at the motel, they discovered Parliman causing a disturbance in a hallway.

In addition to criminal mischief, Parliman was charged with false personation. She was arraigned in Dickinson town court and sent to Broome County Jail without bail.

Officials say at the jail, Parliman was found to be hiding a "large amount" of cash and suspected narcotics inside a body cavity. She faces additional charges related to the drugs.
