A woman traveling with door-to-door meat salesmen has been accused of stealing a purse from a vehicle in Bradford County.

Authorities say 20-year-old Tori Chapman has been charged with theft by unlawful taking.

Police say Chapman was with two men who were selling steaks and other meat products in Herrick township.

The reported theft occurred Friday afternoon at a home on Twin Cuts Road.

A woman who lives at the residence saw the purse being taken and contacted state police.

Troopers tracked down the suspect a short time later.
