Our area is getting its first taste of wintry weather this Fall and for many the taste is sour.  Varying amounts of snowfall are being reported around the Southern Tier of New York and Northern Tier of Pa.  Anywhere from three to four inches to well over a foot of snow is possible with the difference of several miles being key .

To the north around Syracuse lake effect may bring 18 inches or more of the white stuff. Most roadways are snow covered with slippery driving conditions reported throughout the area.  Snowfall is expected to continue through the day on Monday.
