Winter Weather Advisory for the Twin Tiers

Bob Joseph/WNBF News [file][/caption]The National Weather Service says, while it might be spring, there is winter weather impacting travel in the area.

Freezing rain and sleet are to coat roads in the region March 24 and cause some slippery driving conditions.   The mixed precipitation could continue for some time.

A Winter Weather Advisory had been issued meaning that periods of snow, sleet or freezing rain could cause travel difficulties.
