Windsor Man Charged with Assault After Fight

Police say a 56-year-old man was arrested following a domestic dispute in the Town of Windsor in which a person was injured.

Authorities say David Enyart of Windsor was charged with third-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal mischief.

According to state police, Enyart was arrested at about 2 p.m. Tuesday.

Investigators say troopers were advised of a fight that had occurred earlier in the day in a home on Atwell Hill Road. Enyart allegedly injured the other person's hand when he tried to take a cellphone.

Enyart was arraigned in Windsor town court and sent to Broome County Jail on $1,000 bail.
