Windsor Man Accused Of Stealing Fuel Oil

A Broome County man has been indicted for allegedly reselling thousands of dollars in stolen fuel oil.

Authorities say 49-year-old Anthony Vaccaro of Windsor is accused of stealing more than $80,000 in oil from a Tioga County business.

Investigators say Vaccaro is believed to have used a fuel delivery truck to steal, transport and resell oil products over a period of several months.

State police say the scheme may have been going on from October through May.

A Tioga County grand jury indicted Vaccaro after hearing evidence gathered during the investigation.

Vaccaro was arraigned in Tioga County court. He was sent to the county jail on $5,000 bail.
