Wilmer Flores will be back in a B-Mets jersey tonight when the B-Mets host the Richmond Flying Squirrels at 6:35 PM at NYSEG Stadium.  Flores has been sent to Binghamton on a rehab assignment after suffering a left hamstring strain which landed him on the 15-day disabled list on May 12th.

Flores played one season in Binghamton on his way up the ladder in the New York Mets organization.  That season was 2012 when he hit .311 with eight home runs and 33 runs batted in.

Just 24 years of age the New York Mets' infielder has already played in 261 Big League games over four seasons. Flores saw a lot of action last season when New York captured the National League pennant.  In 137 games he hit .263 with 16 home runs and 59 runs batted in .

Prior to his injury Flores had seen duty this season at all four infield slots in 19 games while getting nine hits in 50 at bats.
