The New Hampshire Wildcats swept Binghamton University in a college basketball doubleheader at the Events Center last night.  The Wildcats' women topped the Bearcats' women  60-52 in the first game.  Vaneeshia Paulk led BU in scoring with 17 points while Jasbriell Swain notched 11 in the loss.  Morgan Frame led all scorers with 23 points in pacing the Wildcats' win.

In the nightcap before 4,203 fans New Hampshire broke a nine-game losing streak with a 63-45 victory over the Bearcats.  Jordan Reed led BU with 18 points including 14 in the second half.  Brian Freeman played his best game as a Bearcat coming off the bench to score 11 points.  Freeman also sparkled defensively with 7 rebounds and 4 blocked shots.  The Bearcats could hit only 30% of their shots including an 0-12 night from beyond the three-point arc.

Both the men and women were coming off road wins at Maine last weekend.  Both face UMBC teams next week.  The women play at UMBC next Wednesday at 7 PM (1360 AM WYOS) and the men host the Retre
