Whitney Point Man Allegedly Assaults Neighbor at a Party

A northern Broome County man is accused of assaulting another man in a neighboring apartment on Route 79 in Whitney Point.Broome County Sheriff's officials say shortly before 2 a.m. February 23rd, deputies responded to the apartment house for a disturbance at a party.

Deputies say 20 year old Tyler Carlo allegedly attacked his 24 year old neighbor.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.

Carlo was sent to the Broome County Correctional Facility in lieu of $1,000 bail.
