After several inches of rain and plenty of flooding issues En Joie Golf Course there was mounting concern over the condition of the course for this weekend's Dick's Sporting Goods Open. Water covered large portions of several holes.

En Joie Golf Course staff and volunteers worked round the clock to make the golf course not only playable but in very good shape.  By early this (Thursday) morning even the heavily-flooded 15th hole was ready for golfers.  Number 15 was returned to very good condition with little discernible sign of heavy water cover from the night before.

Concern remains for later in round one play on Friday.  Weather forecasters are predicting rain to move into the area Friday morning with the potential of heavy rains and gusty winds.
