Wendy’s Walk for Kids is breaking a record.  The charity has presented its largest donation ever of $250,000 from last summer’s walk.

The money is being split between the Jewish Community Center, Food Bank of the Southern Tier, ACHIEVE and the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption.

The sixth annual walk took place on the final day of the Dick’s Sporting Goods Open Champions Tour at Enjoie Golf Course.

Officials have already identified the programs benefitting children that will receive next year’s donation.  They are Kopernik Observatory, the OurSpace accessibility program at Recreation Park, the Mental Health Association of the Southern Tier and the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption.
