The annual Welcome Back Binghamton Mets Dinner was held last night at the Binghamton River Walk Hotel and Convention Center.  An estimated crowd of over 500 fans turned out to meet the 2013 edition of the Binghamton Mets.  Doors opened at 5:30 PM with an autograph session followed by dinner and player introductions.

Proceeds from the Welcome Back Binghamton Mets Dinner go to the recently formed Binghamton Mets Booster Club.  The Booster Club was established to help promote the Binghamton Mets organization, players and staff and will hold various activities and events throughout the season.

The B-Mets held an afternoon workout today and will head to Akron for tomorrow night's season-opener vs the Akron Aeros.  Tomorrow night's game can be heard on News Radio 1290 WNBF beginning at 6:20 PM with the "Voice of Binghamton Mets Baseball"  Tim Heiman.  Binghamton's home-opener is next Thursday, April 11 vs the New Hampshire Fisher Cats at 6:35 PM at NYSEG Stadium.
