Waverly Woman Jailed Following Barton Dispute

A Tioga County woman was arrested after a reported domestic incident in the town of Barton.

Authorities say 29-year-old Lynette Ford of Emory Chapel Road, Waverly, was charged with assault and criminal mischief. She also faces counts of criminal mischief and endangering the welfare of a child.

According to the Tioga County Sheriff's Office, the arrest were related to a dispute on Old Barton Road.

Ford was arraigned in Nichols town court. She was sent to Tioga County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail.
