Water to be Shut Off on Part of Front St., Binghamton

Bob Joseph/WNBF News

City of Binghamton officials are advising residents and businesses on Front Street between Gaines Street and Winding Way to prepare for a planned interruption in water service July 31.

No water will be available from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Water should be stored in advance to be used for consumption, cooking, cleaning and sanitary use.

The temporary interruption is needed for construction of the Trout Brook storm sewer improvement project.
