Walden Place Client’s Credit Card Stolen

An employee of an extended care living facility in Cortland County is accused of stealing a credit card from a resident and using it to make several purchases.

Sheriff’s officials say 22 year old Michael Pittman is accused of taking the card from a resident of Walden Place in Cortland as authorities were alerted by family members.

Pittman is charged with three felony counts each of criminal possession of stolen property and identity theft.

Pittman was sent to the Cortland County Jail on $5,000 bail.
