Binghamton Pond Festival takes place January 12 and 13 and January 25 to the 27th at Chenango Valley State Park.

Volunteers can work at the entrance gate, register hockey players, sell merchandise, work at the Mental Health Association of the Southern Tier information table or help with scoring and scheduling.

Friends of the Park are organizing family winter activities including nature walks, sledding and fireworks.

Food trucks will be selling snacks and beverages and bands will be performing.

Proceeds benefit the DFID Power to the Purple youth mental wellness and suicide prevention program.
