New York State Police say four Virginia residents have been hurt, three seriously, in a crash on Interstate 88 in the Town of Sidney.

Troopers say 25 year old Ericka Sa-Keema of Lorton drove off the side of I88 East at 6:27 a.m. May 20 and when she tried to correct, she lost control of the vehicle.

The vehicle went into the median and rolled several times, partially ejecting Sa-Keema and fully ejecting rear-seat passengers, 2 year old Zavion Martin and 1 year old Zamari Martin.

Sa-Keema was taken to Wilson Hospital with head and internal injuries. The two-year-old was taken to Wilson Hospital with a chest injury while the one-year-old was airlifted to University Hospital in Syracuse with a head injury.

27 year old Anthony Martin, who was in the front street and not ejected, was taken to Wilson Hospital with an ankle injury.

Investigators say the children were not secured in child restraint seats.

The investigation is continuing.
