Veterans Day is November 12th, 2012. It's a day when we honor those who are fighting and remember those who lost their lives defending our freedoms. Binghamton has an annual Veterans Day Parade that will feature many veterans groups, community organizations and elected officials.

In the past, these have included the Marine Corps League, Veterans for Peace, the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts and Mayor Ryan.

The annual Veterans Day Parade will take place at 2:00pm, proceeding from the Main/Mather Street intersection to the All Wars Memorial at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena.

This Veterans Day, make it a point to attend the city's Veterans Day Parade. It's a wonderful time to show our heroes that their sacrifice and duty doesn't go unnoticed.

Check back frequently as more information will be added as the city releases more details.
