Vestal Repaving Project Nearing Completion

A repaving project that's been slowing traffic on Route 17 in Vestal in recent days is almost finished.

Drivers on the highway between Route 26 and the Tioga County line have encountered delays in recent weeks because of the work.

Most of the paving work on the three-mile section of Route 17 has been completed.

Some additional work associated with the project remains, so motorists should expect occasional delays over the next several days.
