A Vestal man, who admitted he killed the grandmother who helped raised him, finds he will spend a quarter century in prison for his felony manslaughter plea.

31 year old Kenneth Weber killed 82 year old Saundra Stabler by pushing her down the stairs of her home in January of 2015 and dumping her body on a back road in Susquehanna County.

Weber also pleaded guilty to grand larceny for stealing Stabler’s purse and using her credit card to make several purchases. He had originally been charged with murder.

Weber was sentence July 28 to 25 years in prison.

Prosecutors said Weber led a troubled life and his grandmother was the only one who would care for him, taking him into her home on Ideal Terrace.

Stabler was last seen at her home on January 25, 2015.  Weber led authorities to the area where he said he dumped her body about two weeks later.
