A 29-year old Vestal man has been accused of killing his 82-year-old grandmother.

Kenneth Weber was arraigned April 28 in Broome County Court on a felony murder charge.

Police say Saundra Stabler was last seen at her home at Ideal Terrace in Vestal on January 25.

She was found dead two weeks later.

Weber pleaded not guilty and was sent without bail to the county jail.

Public defender Michael Baker said his client maintains his innocence, but it's too early to provide any substantial comment, given that it's a sealed indictment.

Prosecutors say they believe Weber killed the woman sometime between January 26 and 30th.
