Vestal Grad and SUNY Broome Standout Honored Nationally

SUNY Broome forward Anna Hotalen recently was honored as the NJCAA Division III Women's Basketball Player of the Week. A Vestal High School graduate and former Golden Bear Hotalen was honored for her standout play for the Hornets for the week of January 14 through 20.

For the week Hotalen averaged 25.5 points per game and 21 rebounds per contest in two outings.  Versus Cayuga Hotalen scored 35 points including 25 in the second half.

Hotalen also earned Region III Player of the Week honors during the same week and was named the Mid-State Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of November 7 - 13.
