Vestal Church Moves Forward Following Fire
Members of a Vestal church are continuing to worship and developing plans for the future following a devastating fire.
The May 18 blaze tore through the main building of Grace Lutheran Church at 709 Main Street. The church's fellowship hall and education building sustained heavy damage.
Sunday worship services are being held at the Memorial Park Baptist church, a short distance away.
The church office is being maintained in a building adjacent to the structures damaged by the fire.
Church leaders are still assessing possible options in the aftermath of the blaze. It's not known when decisions will be made about the church's future plans.
