The treasurer of the Vestal school band’s booster club is charged with grand larceny.

Authorities say 50 year old Robin Barber of Vestal is accused of stealing over $3,000 in publicly raised money from the Vestal Band Aids booster club between June of 2011 and June of 2015.

Police say they were notified several months ago of discrepancies found in the club's books.

Barber allegedly used the embezzled publicly-raised funds for personal expenses

She was released following her arraignment to wait for her next court date.
