Veronica Taft Guilty Of Killing Son

Veronica Taft was found guilty yesterday in the killing of her son.  Two year old Lyric Taft died after being beaten in a Binghamton apartment in December of 2010.  Witnesses say that Veronica Taft had a history of abusing the boy and would often hold his face into pillows when he cried.

The jury in the case deliberated for four hours on Tuesday before rendering the guilty verdict.  Taft will be sentenced in November and faces 25 years to life in prison.
