The Binghamton Bearcats fell 1-0 to the Vermont Catamounts in the America East men's soccer championship November 15 in Burlington.   Brian Wright scored the only goal of the game to give Vermont the crown.  The Bearcats out shot the Catamounts 16-9 but could not score.

Binghamton finishes the season with a record of 10-8-2 while Vermont moves to 11-6-3.  The Catamounts will receive an automatic NCAA bid and will find out who they play and where on Monday afternoon when the NCAA Selection Show will be held.

Vermont wins its fifth America East championship.  Binghamton made its seventh appearance in the America East championship game.

Goalkeeper Robert Moewes, midfielder Pascal Trappe and forward Logan Roberts, were named to the America East All-Tournament Team.  Binghamton advanced to the championship game after playoff wins over Stony Brook and Albany.
