Residents in the Town of Union who are still waiting for resolution to the destruction of their homes during the devastating flood of two years ago can get some help completing the final process of the government buyout of their property.

Town officials say, starting September 24, income and household information will be collected for the final survey prior to the completion of the buyouts.

The town will have additional staff on-hand in the Union offices to help property owners with the forms that will be sent to Albany for approval.

The forms are available at the town hall and at the Town of Union website: www.townofunion.com.
