The Union Endicott School Superintendent is advising parents of K-8 grade students that their children will be taking home a survey regarding the emotional well-being of students.

In her advisory posted in the UE weekly news letter, Suzanne McLeod offered an explanation from the Broome County Clinic Plus Coordinator.

Cindy Martin says emotional health issues can affect how well children do both in and out of school.

She says the questionnaire that is being provided is voluntary, free and confidential to help parents and guardians assess their child’s emotional health.

The survey can be returned in a provided envelop and the Family Enrichment Network’s Clinic Plus Coordinator will score the assessments and return the results only to the parents unless parents choose to turn information over to counselors.

Questions can be directed to Cindy Martin at (607)778-1111.
