Two Windsor residents have been charged with animal cruelty after a Broome County Sheriff's Office Detective Division investigation.

Police say they've arrested 32 year-old Colin Ziedenstein-Wilson and 32 year-old Jenn Xancada both of 226 Dutchtown Road in Windsor after executing a search warrant at the residence.

Sheriff's Officials say they have removed 5 horses, 1 donkey, 2 dogs and 8 cats from the property.  All of the animals appeared to be malnourished and were relocated to area shelters.

Wilson and Xancada were also charged with endangering the welfare of a child and unlawful possession of marijuana.  Wilson was additionally charged with multiple vehicle and traffic violations.

Both were released and ordered to appear in Town of Windsor Court at a later date.
