Bob Joseph/WNBF News

Endicott police were seeking two men in connection with a report that shots had been fired on a village street.

Investigators say the incident happened just before 12:30 this morning in the 100 block of Adams Avenue.

Lieutenant Steven Noyes said the shots were heard on Adams near East Main Street.

Noyes said there was no indication anyone had been struck by the gunfire.

Two men suspected of being involved reportedly fled the area in a dark-colored Mercedes or Lexus with tinted windows.

One of the men was believed to have been armed with a .40-caliber handgun.
