Windsor Home Invasion Icicle Assault

Investigators are trying to find two men who assaulted a town of Windsor man, hitting him in the head with an icicle, before stealing prescription medicine and cash.

According to New York State Police, the assailants entered a home on State Route 79 after they claimed they needed to use the telephone.

Authorities say both men then attacked a 56-year-old man in the house. They then took some medication and money before fleeing.

The incident happened around 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Police say the men are believed to have driven away in a four-door gray or light green Nissan with some damage on the driver's side front quarter panel.
