Two Susquehanna County residents are being treated for injuries suffered in a single vehicle crash that happened on Creamery Road in Rush Township at midnight August 23.

Pennsylvania State Police say a 25 year old Meshoppen woman was seriously injured when the vehicle she was driving left the road, re-entered the pavement and the woman overcorrected.  The vehicle left the opposite side of the road and hit a tree.

The driver was not wearing a seat belt. Her passenger, a 25 year old Montrose woman was wearing a seat belt and suffered moderate injury.

The driver was taken to Willson Hospital while the passenger was transported to  Geisinger Medical Center.

The investigation is continuing.
