Two Hallstead, Pennsylvania residents are accused of stabbing another Susquehanna County man to death in an apparent robbery.

34 year old Jerry Mast and 26 year old Sarah Briggs were found in the victim’s car February 12 at a motel in Athens, Bradford County.

The body of 26 year old Roy Marvin of Hallstead was found by a wildlife conservation officer February 10 alongside Harmony Road in Great Bend.

Mast is charged with criminal homicide, robbery, criminal conspiracy to commit robbery of a motor vehicle, robbery of a motor vehicle, hindering apprehension, theft by unlawful taking and abuse of a corpse.

Briggs is charged with murder, robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery of a motor vehicle, robbery of a motor vehicle, hindering apprehension, theft and abuse of a corpse.

Investigators say the three were parked on a rural road planning to smoke marijuana when they got into an argument over methamphetamine.

Briggs and Mast are accused of then repeatedly stabbing Marvin with a knife before rolling him down the embankment where he was found.

The investigation is continuing and State Police ask anyone with information to call them at (570) 465-3154.
