Bob Joseph/WNBF News [file][/caption]Johnson City police have arrested two people following a shoplifting incident at the Oakdale Mall.

Authorities said 52-year-old Pamela Greene was charged with burglary and 27-year-old Islam Greene was charged with petit larceny.

Investigators said both also were charged with child endangerment because an 11-year-old child was with them during the alleged crime.

Police said clothing items worth $117.87 were reportedly taken from the Burlington Coat Factory store.

Officials said the Greenes would not return to the store when they were asked to do so by security workers who had seen them take the merchandise.

When police arrived, the adults and the child were found in a mall parking lot.

A detective said Pamela Greene was charged with burglary because she previously had been banned from the Burlington Coat Factory store.
