Authorities are reporting two separate incidents in the region where bodies of missing men have been recovered from area rivers.

The body of 57 year old Steven Moran of Greene was found in the  Chenango river in the Town of Chenango May 2.

Moran had been missing since December. New York State Police say searchers spent a week looking for Moran before recovering his body and identifying him through dental records.

Officials say no foul play is suspected and an autopsy has ruled the death due to drowning, complicated by hypothermia.
